OPEN HAPPINESS (Coke) Ft. Brendon Urie, Patrick Stump, Travis McCoy, Cee-Lo Green and Janelle Monae

July 8th, 2011

A repost. :D And yes, this was the popular open happiness vid from before. I’m glad I got it back up again! :D Coca-Cola hopes to tap into this power, in an uplifting manner, with the release of Open Happiness, a song that supports a marketing campaign by the same name. The song features Cee-Lo Green from Gnarls Barkley, Brendon Urie from Panic at the Disco, Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy, Janelle Monae and Travis McCoy from Gym Class Heroes. Pairing hot artists with a brand is nothing new, but Coke is taking an ambitious approach to this song. Working with Warner Music Groups Atlantic Records, Coke has produced a song to stand on its own. Open Happiness, which never mentions Coke in the lyrics, is being sold on iTunes and a music video will premiere in May. LYRICS: ahhh..ohhh Well hello is this thing on Is anybody listening A brand new day has begun The first thing that I want do Make sure that you feel it too So I?m not the only one C’mon lift me up (it’s a brand new day) Open up a lil happiness today So I can be someone new C’mon and lift me up (to a better way) Open up a smile on another face So I can (feel something new) Open up some happiness Open up some happiness Open up some happiness Oh, excuse me *Ahem* *Ahem* let me clear my throat So you can hear clearly every word spoke Today I woke feeling lovely Happiness overflowin’ knowin’ somebody loves me Just think yesterday I was down and out Now there’s not a single thing for me to frown about And the same thing

Aqua Therapy Can Be A Great Way To Reduce Bothersome Back Pain

June 23rd, 2010

Back pain can be really annoying. You can try all sorts of medication that rarely helps the matter. There are even therapies that you can undertake. However, you should consider taking up aqua therapy as a means to alleviate the back pain.

The beauty of aqua therapy is that it is cheap, simple to do, and best of all, there is no danger of any side effects. This gives you great peace of mind when you start this sort of therapy.

No more having to go and sit in the waiting room patiently, waiting to see your doctor while your back is getting gradually worse. You just take a trip to your local pool and enjoy your workout in the pool.

The aqua therapy is great for toning your back, hip and abs, which is great for your spine. Being in the water can give you the same feeling as weight lifting because of the water resistance when you are moving.

The water buoyancy is great for taking the load off your joints, which is a great way to ease the pain in your back and make you feel more mobile.

You should be able to perform full cycle movements quite painlessly while in the water. But you should be wary, especially if you are a beginner, that overdoing it can cause the risk of re-injury. Always try to start off slowly and gradually increase your actions.

The many activities that you can perform while in the water include abdominal exercises, kicking, water walking and cycling exercises if you are in deeper water. All these will stabilize your lower back as they get your hips to work properly.

There is also aquatic equipment that you can use to focus on certain muscles and stabilize your lower back. These accessories include such things as dumb bells or flotation belts. This is a great way of correcting your posture too.

Depression does not have to rule your life completely. It is possible for you to take control of this illness and even beat it without the need for medical assistance all the time. 1. Keep to a balanced diet – If you keep to a balanced diet of minerals and vitamins you will keep yourself in a good mood which is vital to beating depression.

2. Exercise – Another way to make you feel good in yourself is to take up regular exercising. By getting your self into shape and controlling the adrenaline in your body you will cast aside your negative feelings and put yourself in a good mood.

3. Exposure to the sun – Getting your skin exposed to natural sunlight for about 15 minutes a day can help your skin to feel good. This in turn is another way to make your self feel good which again is good for beating depression.

4. Get enough sleep – If your body is tired all the time it can lead to you feeling bad all the time. This can make many situations worse than they should be. It is vital that your body gets the correct amount of sleep in order to replenish your energy levels.

5. Keep a daily journal – By keeping daily journals you can keep a track on what situations make you feel worse and try to avoid getting into those situations.

Activities That Could Somehow Better Up Your Mood

June 13th, 2010

While people with serious conditions such as depression or anxiety require the aid of a doctor and sometimes medications, there are ways for those of us with mild mood problems to mitigate the negative feelings we have. Here are a few all-natural ways to improve your moods.

Religious Services: A study has shown that attending religious services can have a positive effect on mood. Those who entered the services feeling low came out in a better mood, and the effect was even more pronounced in people who attended services regularly. The study didn’t compare the different types of services; all services were found to have the same positive effects on mood.

Looking at Family Photos: Take a look at some old photo albums and not only will you remember the good times of the past, but you’ll be in a better mood as well. Many of us also have hours of home video from the old days that can help put us in a better mood.

Saying “Thank You:” We’ve all heard countless times that we should count our blessings. It’s an old proverb for a reason: saying thanks helps us appreciate the good that other people do for us. And getting a smile in return is an even better mood-booster.

Clean Your Living Space: When our environments are cluttered and disorganized, we feel the same way about our lives. It can be hard to get a hold on things when you’re constantly dealing with the clutter, so do yourself a favor and straighten things out.

Get Out in the Sun: Most of us have heard of Seasonal Affective Disorder, or SAD. This condition affects us during the winter months when there’s little sunlight and our moods deteriorate as a result. Get as much sun as you can if you find that your moods are affected by the winter months. There are also some forms of light therapy that can be helpful if used correctly.

Exercising: It may not be what you want to hear, but exercising is always a great way to improve mood. Being active causes our bodies to produce the hormone called endorphin – the substance that’s responsible “runner’s high.” Exercising boosts our moods by causing our brains to release this pleasure hormone.

Drink Some Herbal Tea: More than just a way to warm up on a cold night, a cup of chamomile tea can also impart mood-enhancing benefits that relax your nerves. Try adding some lavender, jasmine, or passionflower for a little extra something to help you relax.

In addition to happiness, the writer additionally regularly shares knowledge regarding folding shelf brackets and decorative shelf brackets.
