PanterA – No Good (Attack The Radical) (Vulgar Display Of Power)

August 30th, 2011

Lyrics: In the states There’s a problem with race Because of ignorant past burned fires From evolution We’ve been killing each other I figure man should have it down to a science No chance Not for a minute Not for a second I won’t be defensive I’m straight out in my opinion You’d better listen to a man who knows what he is saying I’ve seen your side You run and hide for the mere fact that you feel inferior Be superior And know your interior [Pre] Race, pride, prejudice Black man, white man No stand Live in the past We make it last A hated mass No solution Mind pollution For revolution [Chorus] So low behold my eyes This land of fools will rise No good For no one You blame oppression and play the role of criminals To rape and burn show progress is minimal White hoods and militants you know it’s such a pity Living, breathing Violence in your city If one man Had one home In one world Held live alone without variety Full of anxiety No one to point at, question Or even talk to — in his private grave No matter what color He wouldn’t be saved from hell He dwells A closed mind playing the part of prison cells [Pre] [Chorus]

Pretty Good – Rage Films – OFFICIAL Ski Teaser

August 6th, 2011

BUY NOW ON DVD!!! www.vasfilms.com Each fall a sense of anxiety creeps into the minds of skiers. As the weather cools we obsessively begin checking web cams, peering out windows and aimlessly driving up mountain roads in search of the first snow. When those first flakes hit the ground we grab our gear and head for the hills. Whether its setting up a rail at the base or hiking the trails before the chair spins, were just stoked to be back on the snow. Rage has always been about exposing the hottest up-and-coming stars and showcasing all aspects of freeskiing. This season was no different with new and veteran athletes working harder than ever to bring you the most progressive tricks from handrails to backcountry cliffs. We tactfully planned our season to camp out at select locations until everything was hit, new tricks were stomped and everyone was ready to move on. Freeskiing is as much about the kids skiing 200ft ski hills, as it is about tackling big mountain lines. That is why in producing this ski film we made sure to showcase the sport in all its diversity. Whether its a 6:00am hike on a two foot pow day in the Wasatch or a midnight rail session in Minnesota, our cinematographers were there capturing the moments. ATHLETES: Kyler Cooley, Ian Cosco, Dylan Natale, Mark Dvorak, Mike Mertion, LJ Strenio, Gus Kenworthy, Derek Spong, Joe Schuster, Alex Schlopy, Joss Christensen, Bene Mayr, Fabio Studer, Cody Ling, and friends SPONSORS: Spyder, Fischer, Faction Skis, Coreupt

April 3rd, 2011

Question by jst.christopher: What are good herbal remedies for anxiety?
I am without health insurance, and suffer from moderate anxiety/depression (diagnosed by my doctor) and am looking for information on herbal or natural remedies to help calm my anxiety. I have tried st. johns wart more than once, and didn’t notice any difference, and I am looking for other herbs and such that might help, preferably with knowledge from experience.

Valerian might help. To instantly calm you down a powder supplement called Calms by Peter Gillham (is magnesium) works really well but you have to be careful because too much magnesium can cause diarrhea.

What is a good medication for panic disorder and social anxiety?

April 1st, 2011

Question by Scarlett: What is a good medication for panic disorder and social anxiety?
I have severe panic disorder and social anxiety and I was prescribed trileptol and celexa. I’ve been taking them for almost a year now, and I haven’t noticed any change physically or mentally. Is there a different medication I should be taking?

Hi Victoria -

Sometimes drugs can’t fix anxiety/panic disorders all on their own. Have you tried working with a therapist? Usually a combination of medication and therapy work best. Many times the therapist will co-manage the patient’s care with a psychiatrist (an M.D.) so that both needs are met. The M.D. can prescribe the medications and you and your therapist can work on getting you desensitized to whatever it is that triggers your anxiety and panic attacks.

One word of caution – some people rely on a class of drugs called benzodiazepines to deal with anxiety and panic attacks. Stay away from these – they are highly addictive and they do not actually treat the problems. They simply mask the feelings of anxiety and panic. They also have some heavy side-effects. Some common examples of benzos would be Valium, Xanax or Ativan.

I hope that this information was helpful to you and I really do wish you all the best. I have a lot of personal as well as professional experience in this area (have a family member who has the same disorder) and I know how debilitating the constant anxiety and panic can be.
