This is the kind of panic attack that is confusing, and it would seem that “out of the blue” the sleep panic attack would just happen, this kind of attack is not even caused by any provoked event.
For in reality though, sleep panic attack is a symptom that commonly happens because of an excessive stress during the day. For instance, there are some people that would wake up having a panic attacks during the middle of the night after having a dramatic change within their life, for example moving from one country to another, and having to start a new job, or experiencing a loss of a close friend, loved one, or even a pet.
Rarely, sleep panic attack in an individual could be experienced while they are sleeping and they are still unaware of any of the external stresses or the anxiety that happened during the day. In this case, the person is most likely that the person has been repressing the feeling of anxiousness in their day-to-day life. This usually happens if these people will not allow their emotions to freely flow during the day, these persons can oftentimes express themselves during the night by the form of the nightmares, night terrors, or the case of panic attacks while sleeping occurs.
On the other hand, person should have to remember an important thing with regards to sleep panic attacks, these attacks would usually take place during the day or even when the person in sleeping. These are already considered as a SYMPTOM, and not a condition. This symptom of panic attack is an indicator that you have an imbalance in your life; this would be the build up of the stress as well as anxiety you feel daily.

But, of course sleep panic attacks may also interrupt the person’s normal sleeping patterns or habit, and it can very well prevent us of getting the proper night’s rest. There will be an instance that a person may become fearful of suffering from another panic attack, this will also raise the person’s fear in going to bed, this would later on result a chronic insomnia problem.
Unfortunately, there are more insomnia that a person would go through, this would be the reason that they experience sleep panic attacks, this would eventually lead into a vicious cycle of going through panic as well as sleeplessness that could gradually escalate into a very unpleasant health situation that would affect our normal ways of living. The good part about this is that there are proven ways for a person to reduce or to even eliminate sleep panic attacks.
