Knowing the causes and triggers: this is one factor that could be of great help for panic attacks, which could help the sufferers prevent the recurrence of panic attacks. You can make a list of those causes and triggers, so you could be reminded and avoid them or find ways how you can overcome them. Triggers could be places, person, events, memories, and etc.

Make a diary of each attack: this one could be a great way to keep track of your panic attacks. Try to write down everything that happens after you get over with panic attack. This will remind you of the things that caused your attack, what remedy did you use, how severe the attack was, and other factors that you think will be helpful as information. Bring this every time you see your doctor so he could also keep track of the severity of the attack. So, he will be able to have a good assessment and provide you with more effective methods to use. He will also remind you of the things that you need to avoid that could possibly cause panic attacks.

I know that these three are common, simple and easy to do but nonetheless it could be of great help for panic attacks. These methods initiate prevention more than a treatment for panic attacks. It’s harder to deal with the panic attacks rather to prevent it.
