If shyness gets in the way, go to the mirror and sing to yourself. After you have built some confidence and self esteem, then you can move on and start doing it in front of your friends and family.

Begin taking your time and start visualizing you being stutter free. Remember to see it in your mind first, and then speak out your thoughts to those around you. If you see yourself speaking clearly, then you will begin to speak successfully.

Doing so, they trip over their tongues. We all do, imagine how hard it would be for a stutter sufferer. So, deep breaths, then even speaking as you exhale, nice and easy and stress-free. By doing things this way, you will help your condition greatly, because one of the root causes of stuttering is stress. Breathing exercises are a great stress reliever. A perfect combination.

Don’t forget that relaxing is very important in your road to recovery. Visualize doing it, speak while breathing out, sing to everyone, and practice in the mirror and in your mind. Take away all the stress and you are well on your way.
