    Ill sum it up quick, the more you talk about panic /anxiety disorder, the more you join support groups and talk about it constantly , the more you make it a part of your life , the longer it will stay and the deeper it will get into your subconscious, which will make it harder to overcome, but overcome and be completely cured you can be and its very easy ,as much hate from other suffer’s ill probably insight by saying that, the problem is that these type of books are the last thing you need. search the net for a guy named Charles Linden, the get back to living

  2. This book is about as easy to swallow as two valiums without any water. But once you do manage to digest a couple of chapters, it should make you just as sleepy. If you’re having panic attacks, this book is of no help as you can’t concentrate when you’re having them in order to follow its mundane directions — as anyone who has them will tell you. See a doctor and forget this tripe.

  3. The first part of this book is very bad. If I bougth this book is because I know for sure I suffer panic attack, so the discribe (at a detail) all other disease make me very scare of it. So discard the first part. The second part is excellent with case studies, and exercises to do, the philosofy of observer are very wise. I think this book is for two different audience, but if I bougth a book I don’t waste my money.

    I have been suffering from panic and anxiety since I was 4 years old. This book was recommended by my therapist, and I found it tremendously panic-inducing! It’s a little dense, and there’s a very thick section in the beginning which just describes panic over and over and over again… !!!!!

    Sometimes, I’ve found that reviewing the symptoms of panic can actually get me to calm down. I realize that these are just symptoms, and they’ll go away when I can calm down. Not so with this book. It makes me too nervous, and I have to put it down. I’ve never been able to read more than a few pages without feeling sick.

    It’s utterly useless, in my opinion, to those it’s trying to help. May be a good read for the spouse or partner of a suffering person. Have someone read it and give you the information!

    I started to get a panic attack reading this book. The begining of the book just keeps going into detail about panic, panic, panic, panic, symptoms, panic, more symtpons, more details of panic, every other sentence has the word panic, dizzy, nervousenes, more nervousnes, fear, terrified, hurt, more hurt, more panic. When you read this book these words just get pounded into your head and pretty soon you feel like your going to get another episode just reading this detailed negativity. I retuned the book immediatly.
